Continuing Education

The PDC Summit has been approved to provide the following types of continuing education:

  • ASHE/AHA CECs
  • AIA LUs & LU|HSWs
  • ACHE Qualified Education Credits
  • EDAC Credits
  • IDCEC
  • Nursing Credits

Continuing Education Overview

Full Conference Attendees may earn*:

  • Up to 14.5 CECs for general and concurrent sessions during the conference.
  • Plus up to 7 CECs are available for select pre and post conference programs. (Separate registration required, credits vary.)

Individuals are responsible for maintaining their own continuing education records.  Please download and save your CEC/Certificate of Attendance on a secure system and device for future reference needs or audits.

Continuing Education Credit Tracking

Get familiar with the  process before you arrive! To earn your CECs, you must use the 2026 PDC Summit mobile app. There will be no badge scanning. 

  1. CHECK IN TO THE SESSION.
    1. Check-in time opens 15 minutes before each session begins & closes at the scheduled end time.
    2. If you miss a check-in please visit the Help Desk for assistance.
  2. ENTER THE SESSION CODE DISPLAYED IN THE ROOM.
    1. Each session has a unique code that will be available on the PPT.
  3. COMPLETE THE EVALUATION AFTER THE SESSION.
    1. Only 1 session per time slot will be recorded. To access a session evaluation, a check-in to the session is required.
    2. To receive credit, check-in to the session and complete the evaluation. 

*The actual number of CECs awarded to each attendee is based on the number of sessions (checked-in, entered session code & completed evaluation). 

Conference Transcript and Evaluations  

  • A conference transcript certificate will be e-mailed out by 5:00 p.m. on March 11, 2026, the last day of the conference.
  • If you complete any evaluations after March 11, 2026, Please contact ASHEeducation@aha.org for the latest certificate.
  • All conference evaluations will close on March 18, 2026.

How do I get my credits?

  • ASHE a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association provides Continuing Education Credits (CECs) that can be used toward the renewal of the Health Care Facility Manager (CHFM) credential and the Certified Health Care Constructor (CHC) credential.

    • Transcript certificates will be e-mailed out by 5:00 p.m. on March 11, 2026, the last day of the conference.
    • If you complete any evaluations after March 11, 2026, Please contact ASHEeducation@aha.org for the latest certificate.
    • Evaluations will close on March 18, 2026.

    NEW for CHFM Holders!
    Your CECs from the 2026 PDC Summit will be automatically uploaded to your AHA Certification portal by March 31.

    • This benefit is only available for current CHFM holders who check in and complete session evaluations for the PDC Summit.
    • ASHE is working to get this same automation available to those with a current CHC soon.
  • ASHE is an AIA CES Provider and have submitted all in-person sessions for AIA CES approval.

    ASHE will handle the submission of session attendance on behalf of attendees who complete the steps provided below. Please be aware that AIA attendance cannot be self-reported for the conference.

    To ensure you receive your AIA LUs & LU|HSWs:

    1. Check in to the session on the mobile app using the session code.
    2. Attend the full session time.
    3. Provide your AIA member number when providing evaluation feedback so ASHE can report your attendance to AIA.
    All evaluations will close on March 18, 2026.

    • ASHE will submit your attendance to AIA by March 31,2026.
    • On Demand sessions recording will not be submitted for AIA CES approval, and will need to be self-reported to AIA.
  • By participating in the PDC Summit organized by the American Society for Health Care Engineering, a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association, individuals can accumulate a maximum of 14.5 ACHE Qualifying Education Hours for the initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) title.  Individuals enrolled in this program who seek to have their continuing education hours count towards ACHE Qualified Education credit are required to self-report their participation. To self-report, individuals must log in to their MyACHE account and choose ACHE Qualified Education Credit.

  • A downloadable form to view which 2025 PDC Summit sessions qualified for EDAC CEUs. EDAC Certified Individuals will need to check the sessions attended, retain the CEU form for their records, and self-report their attended sessions through Meazure Learning when they are due for renewal. 

  • ASHE advises attendees to check into the 2026 PDC Summit mobile app for ASHE to keep a record of attendance and participation, along with the steps below.

    ASHE advises that individuals holding IDCEC credentials should download the IDCEC mobile application in preparation for the conference. To acquire instructions on downloading the IDCEC mobile app, please refer to the instructional video on YouTube provided by IDCEC.

    Participants are required to independently record their attendance by utilizing the mobile app to scan the QR code located within the session rooms. Alternatively, attendees can report their attendance on the IDCEC website.

  • This activity has been submitted to Montana Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Montana Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

  • A special block of hotel rooms has been secured for PDC Summit™ attendees and exhibitors within walking distance to the convention center. This process benefits attendees by keeping the block from filling up too quickly and provides attendees with multiple room options.

    • You must be a registered attendee to reserve a room.
    • Hotel reservation link(s) can be found in your registration confirmation e-mail.
    • The cutoff date for discounted hotel rates is January 30, 2026.

    CUTOFF DATE 
    The contracted hotels offer discounted group rates for registrants attending the conference. The discounted group rates apply until the reservation deadline of January 30, 2026, or until all rooms in the group block have been reserved, whichever occurs first.  After the cut-off date, the discounted group rates may not be available. We encourage you to confirm your reservations early.

    ASHE is the official housing/travel provider for the PDC Summit. Be aware that you may be solicited by other companies to book your hotel room or make travel arrangements. Such companies are not affiliated with and are not sponsored or approved by ASHE/AHA to provide travel arrangements for the PDC Summit. ASHE/AHA will not be responsible for any actions or omissions of such companies. By using the official travel provider you can ensure that you are being booked in the housing block reserved by ASHE/AHA and take advantage of the group discounted rates.

  • Registration Check Payment, Cancellation, Substitution, and No-Show Policy  

    Cancellation Requests  
    All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to ASHEeducation@aha.org.  

    Deadline for Refund Eligibility  
    Cancellation requests must be received on or before February 9, 2026, 11:59 p.m. CT to be eligible for a refund.  

    • A 20% cancellation fee will be applied to conference registration, preconference, and/or post-conference purchases.  
    • Non-refundable items include ASHE membership fees, pre-purchased session recordings, and donations to The Ilse B. Almanza Scholarship Fund*.  
    • No Refunds After Deadline  

    Cancellation requests received after February 9, 2026, will not be eligible for a refund. This policy remains in place and applies to your company’s regulations including any reassignments given by your company and/or any foreseeable additional conditions/policies including travel implemented by your company. Absolutely, no exceptions and no extensions.  

    Substitution Policy  
    Attendee substitutions are accepted until February 27, 2026. Please email substitution requests to ASHEeducation@aha.org.  

    Only conference admissions may be transferred. All other purchases are subject to the cancellation policy above.  

    Check Payment Deadline  
    Check payments must be received by February 9, 2026, at the address provided in the registrant’s confirmation email.  

    If the payment is not received by February 9th, the conference registration will be cancelled.  

    Non-Refundable Items  
    Payments for ASHE membership (new or renewal) and donations to The Ilse B. Almanza Scholarship Fund* are non-refundable.  

    No-show policy  
    No refunds will be issued for no-shows.  

    The Attendee is responsible for cancelling any hotel and any other travel arrangements. All refunds will be made using the same method of payment (credit card or check) as the original transaction. Please allow 6-8 weeks for all refunds to be completed.  

    *Donations to The Ilse B. Almanza Scholarship Fund support education and training to develop future leaders committed to optimizing the health care physical environment. These donations are non-tax deductible.  

  • Health care leaders work every day to ensure the safety of their patients and teams, and AHA prioritizes the same goal—your health and safety. The AHA continuously monitors local, state, and federal guidelines and determines safety protocols and requirements for all face-to-face events. Additional details on safety protocols will be provided closer to the start date of the conference.

    By registering, you acknowledge that you will follow the current health and safety protocols established by the AHA for the 2024 PDC Summit and abide by the applicable CDC and local guidelines. Should you fail to observe any of our protocols, ASHE may remove you from the Event without a refund.
